Scaffold plank supports
I have a plank with hooks.
Thought about building trestle supports from galvanised pipe - but the expense?
I then found pipe which fits perfectly within the A-frame aluminium ladder rungs.
Insert clips to keep them in position.
And then add ends - which with the clips can be removed and the pipe moved to whatever height rung you want.
Hope that makes sense.
It works. 😉

Re: Scaffold Plank Supports
Hi @Noyade
That is so clever using large "R" clips to hold the pipe in place. That's definitely an ingenious and affordable method to hold the scaffold plant supports.

Re: Scaffold Plank Supports
Cheers Eric!
I was amazed the pipe fitted so well within the rung - one more millimetre in diameter and it wouldn't work. The gal pipe, clips and gal connectors - all from Bunnings. I just added the steel plate to the connectors.
With the plank hooks in position on the pipe - the four ends can be screwed against the hooks for a firm wobble-free experience on the plank.
