Team,
1. What are the recommended pest control products that we can spray around the home?
2. How freqently, is it recommended to be applied around home?
3. Any Do's and Dont's while applying it?
Thank you
Hello @msgforsunil
It all depends on what you are trying to keep out of your home. For general long-term barrier control, I suggest using Yates 2L Home Pest Long Term Control Barrier Spray. It's effective for 12 months so you don't have to spray that often. It kills a wide range of pests including cockroaches, ants, spiders, flies, silverfish and cat fleas. It also eliminates & creates a barrier from mosquitoes for up to 14 weeks on plant foliage.
I suggest following the list of recommended areas to be sprayed on the Yates Barrier Spray, if it's not on the list, do not spray that area. But just to be safe, do not spray your pantry where you keep your food, along with pet bowls, dishes and aquariums.
Please remember to wear personal protection such as disposable overalls, gloves, goggles and a mask when using this spray. Make sure to read and follow the safety guidelines included in the packaging. My best advice is to keep everyone away while you are spraying the house.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Awesome. thanks a lot, @EricL sir.
1. Curious how do you compare the above with https://www.bunnings.com.au/richgro-500ml-termite-and-ant-killer-concentrate_p0046395 ?
2. Any recommendation on protective clothing to wear that I could buy in Bunnings while spraying?
3. Does it harm the veggie garden when it comes in contact with or other plants?
Thanks in advance.
Hi @msgforsunil,
In order for us to give the best advice it's important to know what pests you're trying to control. Eric has mentioned a product that controls a number of creepy crawlies, but if you were specifically trying to control termites or ants then the Richgro 500ml Termite And Ant Killer Concentrate or David Grays 500ml Ant and Termite Spray would be a better alternative.
When preparing and spraying the products, wear a long-sleeved shirt, trousers, enclosed shoes, goggles and rubber gloves.
Ideally, you shouldn't be spraying veggie gardens or plants with these types of chemicals. They shouldn't harm the plants, but applying these products to a veggie garden is not advised. For ants in a veggie garden, use Ant Sand around the garden's perimeter instead.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
I thought I'd also mention @msgforsunil, that we have a range of overalls and workwear that would be great as protective wear.
