Need ideas on backyard roofing!
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for ideas on solutions to having a clear roof over my backyard deck. It's currently got flat aluminium beams that go across but as its not covered, the deck, BBQ and sink get soaked when it rains.
I've attached some photos below to show the area I'm working with.
Any ideas or things to be mindful of would be appreciated!

Re: need ideas on backyard roofing!
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @matt90. It's wonderful to have you join us and many thanks for your questions about roofing.
My first thought is to use flat polycarbonate roofing. You'll find both SUNPAL Multi-wall and SUNGLAZE solid roofing sheeting done by our supplier Palram. We carry a variety of the Twinwall roofing in-store. I think aesthetically something like that would look best. Alternatively, you could use traditional profiled sheeting.
You'll need to create a slight fall on the sheets so the water can run off the roof. Whether that is directed onto the ground or preferably into a gutter and then the stormwater system.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
