Where do I start? Anyone who has built 1 of their own,feel free to share pics and give me a few pointers "Do's  & Dont's", keeping in mind I'm a 49yr old Mother of 5 adult children (4 being male) I will no doubt be heavily scrutinized lol

Have you got a shot of the area where you want to build the barbecue? And have you thought about what you want or need? Providing as much information as you can will help other community members provide more helpful and specific advice.

But, are you sure you want to do brick? Are you planning on having a gas barbecue on top?
