How to seal new concrete?
what is the best way to protect new concrete? We have concrete that has been down for a year now and is half black colour, doesn't look like it is stained with grease or oils. Wondering what is the best way to protect it please? Do we need to acid wash it first or just seal it? Thanks

Re: sealing concrete
Hello @JennyM
Would it be possible for you to post a photo of your concrete floor? This will give us an idea of what its current condition is, and we'll be able to offer ideas on how to seal it. Depending on what kind of concrete it is, you can use either Crommelin 10L Satin DiamondCoat Paving And Concrete Sealer or Berger Jet Dry 10L Heavy Duty Gloss Smoke Grey Paving Paint. There is no need to acid etch your concrete if it's only a year old. Using soap, water, and Oates Supreme Garden Broom should be enough to clean it.
However, if it currently has an existing coating on it, it will have to be removed or another product will have to be applied before it is sealed. We look forward to seeing the photos.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
Eric
