How to remove front door light cover?

Hi does anyone know how to remove the cover of the front door light? I tried twist but doesn't seem like it is screw.. but I thought it was clip but Im not sure how to remove it. Any advise?

Hi @calccom21,

There are likely three spring clips inside the unit holding the shade firmly in place. Start on one side and gently pull the shade away from the back plate. Move to a different area if you don't feel the shade pull away. You must pull on one edge of the cover and lever it off. The springs will resist your efforts if you try to pull the whole cover straight down.

Wear gloves and safety glasses whilst you do so, as there is always a slight risk of the glass cover cracking.
