How to re-string a plastic “wicker” chair?
These are only 18 months old so I don’t want to throw them out
Any idea how they could be repaired?

Re: How to re-string a plastic “wicker” chair?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @emily123. It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about repairing chairs.
I am unaware of any similar wicker that could be used for your repair. It's important that whatever is used is safe, designed for that usage and capable of holding weight. 18 months is a relatively short period of time for outdoor furniture to last. If these were our Acapulco chairs, I recommend taking them to the store of purchase with your receipt and discussing with a manager the possibility of returning them.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Re: How to re-string a plastic “wicker” chair?
Hi again, @emily123. I just found this Grunt 6mm x 40m White Marine Braided Rope, which would be suitable for outdoor use and capable of supporting the weight. If you attempt to repair the chair, ensure the rope is re-wound per the original design to ensure safety.

Thanks
I have discovered I purchased them in April of 2023 - so actually 2 years old. But no longer have a receipt.

Re: How to re-string a plastic “wicker” chair?
If you cannot find your proof of purchase, our in-store team can assist you if you know the approximate date and paid on card, @emily123. It might be worth looking back through your transaction history to try to narrow it down.
Alternatively, the marine rope might be an option.
