I have the Tuscan corrugated garden edging in woodland grey, and a Northcote Plymouth lettebox in charcoal, however the colours don't go with the retaining wall or fences that are in monument. I'd like to paint the edging and letterbox to match the wall and fence. Is it possible to paint the edging and letterbox, and if so which paint would do the job?
Hello @Marg1962
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about painting your garden edging and letterbox.
In order to get a clean and tidy finish on your garden edging it will need to be pulled out and washed with detergent to remove the dirt and debris that has attached itself to the surface. The letterbox will need to be washed as well to remove any contaminants that may have settled on it.
Once both items are totally dry, I suggest using Dulux 1L PRECISION White Maximum Strength Adhesion Primer to prime the surface of the items. When the primer cures, I recommend using Dulux Weathersheild tinted to your preferred colour.
