How to paint cement sheeting exposed to damp?
Hello,
Seeking advice on how best to paint outdoor cement sheeting flooring. Located on floor of balcony. Undercover but exposed to rain and can get damp causing paint to peel away.
can I use bitumen paint as a base layer then cover with undercoat and paving paint?
any advice appreciated.

Hello @Wittz
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's wonderful to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your cement sheeting.
Using ordinary exterior paint on your walkway is not ideal. I suggest looking at using Concrete and Paving paint. These types of paints have been formulated to provide a tough finish and designed to withstand heavy traffic.
The current paint on your cement sheet must all be removed. You can either use a scraper or sand it off, putting the Concrete paint over your old paint is not advised as the old paint might peel off taking your new paint with it.
Here is a handy step-by-step guide: How to paint a concrete driveway.
