How to fix hole in external render?
I have this damage to my external walls render. I backfilled it with spray foam (which is currently curing). I was going to fix it using Dunlop Joint & Patch Render which I had purchased, but I'm wondering if it's the wrong thing to use, because it looks very smooth, but my existing render is very textured as you can see in the photo, which seems to have large grains in it. What products should I use to fix this, and how? Thanks.

Re: How to fix this hole in external render?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @pat91. It's tremendous to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about repairing render.
You might like to read through this helpful guide: How to repair a rendered wall. The Dunlop product is suitable to use, but you should use an old toothbrush to stipple and texture the new render to blend in seamlessly with the old.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
