How to fix Orion doorbell encrypted connection taking too long to open?

My new Orion doorbell encrypted connection takes so long to open on my Samsung S24 ultra, that I keep missing the mailman! 

Is there a way to remove the encryption and have an unsecured but fit for purpose connection?
