How to attach bamboo screen to Colorbond fence?

Hi,

I was wondering how I would install

EDEN 1.8 x 3m Natural Bamboo Screen Fencing

To colobond fence. Been searching around but haven't found how I could do it.

I've read that something about some timber along top and bottom of fencing attached.

Advise and help would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance

"My best advice is to drill pilot holes in the bamboo to prevent splitting them"

From what you said above, would it apply to this photo attached?

Im assuming that was for bigger bamboo slats?

Hi @kelso101,

The pilot holes would be for the larger bamboo. You can pull the bamboo screen tight and screw between the bamboo pieces to fix it to the batten. I recommend using Zenith 8G x 20mm Galvanised Button Head Stitching Timber Screws, as the 30mm @EricL mentioned might be too long for the smaller bamboo. Staple nails could also be used.

thanks Mitchell and Eric for the assistance. Managed to put it up. The batons was a little tricky with the tek screws but all good.

Thanks again
