Hey Bunnings community,
been given a Hoselink for Christmas and looking to attach it to the outside of the house.
My home has 75mm Greenboard rendered cladding over 90mm wall frame on the lower levels and I’m unsure how to attach the Hoselink to the wall without damaging the Cladding and without the hoselink ripping out of the wall.
would I be better off getting the in-ground hoselink stand or is there a way to bolt the hoselink to the wall?
thanks!
Hello @timclu
If you do not wish to damage your rendered wall, I suggest installing a 100 x 100mm 2.4m Post H4 Treated Pine Wet CCA - 2.4m either in the ground or using a Pryda 100mm M12 Bolt Down w Raised Mount Post Anchor if you have a concrete base. The post can be cut down to your preferred height.
The post is treated and can withstand being in direct contact with the soil. It's strong enough to carry your hose set and can be removed if you wish to service it. I've placed a sample image below to give you an idea of how it can be done. The best part about using a post is that you can install it in the best possible spot in the garden.
