Hi Bunnings,
I am planing for garden bed brick rendering to make smooth to get rid off rough surface.
So what material and equipment I have to buy for this DIY project?
Also want to make sure the material must be whether protected and brick durable . So not get crack in future.
Also wanna make top brick edge round curv rather than sharp straight.
thank you
Good Evening @jack89
I havnt done any rendering as yet... Tho I know I have to repair my rendered retaining walls. The reason I jumped in was to suggest some kind of water membrane painted onto the inside of your beds so that you dont have water wanting to travel through the bessa blocks and try and push the render off over time.
I will tag in a few members that have more experience. @JacobZ and @Nailbag

Hello @jack89
Thanks for sharing your question about rendering your garden bed. @Dave-1 has given very good advice regarding your garden bed, it's important that the inside wall of your garden bed be sealed first before you render the outside. I suggest using Gripset Betta 1L Waterproofing Membrane Bitumen Rubber to seal the inside wall of your garden bed. Once the seal cures you can then begin rendering the outside part of your garden bed.
Here is a handy step-by-step guide: How To Render. (tools and materials list will mentioned in the guide)
