Fish pond leak
my fish pond has a leak in the bottom. The pond is some sort of rigid black plastic or polypropylene. How can I fix the leak? The hole is about 8cm by 6cm and has dirt underneath.

Re: Fish pond leak
That sounds like a big hole @andreajoe!
You probably want something like this - https://www.bunnings.com.au/crommelin-1l-black-pond-sealer_p0960194 - and this https://www.bunnings.com.au/crommelin-100mm-x-10m-reinforcing-fabric_p1070654
Can you dig the pond out?
An alternative might be to forget about the hole and just use a new liner - https://www.bunnings.com.au/our-range/garden/garden-decor/garden-water-features/flexible-pond-liners

Re: Fish pond leak
The hole is blocked by rocks and a piece of cement installed by previous owner.
When it is not so tropical we will pull the existing pond out and install a new lining.
I will report back when it is done.
Thanks again Kermit
Sorry that shousld be " or install a new lining"

Re: Fish pond leak
No probs @andreajoe.
Another option is just replace the pond - https://www.bunnings.com.au/search/products?q=pond&facets=BrandName%3DAquapro

Re: Fish pond leak
BTW, this suggests putting sand in the hole before the pond carcass to ensure rocks don't perforate it - https://www.bunnings.com.au/diy-advice/outdoor/paths-and-landscaping/how-to-build-a-garden-pond

Re: Fish pond leak
You could fill the hole with rapid set concrete, then use crommelin watersealer {grey} over the top?
