How to stop wasps nesting in brick wall grout?
Hi, I am having to remove mud nests from our external brick work grout, this is a tedious job, and I have to do it every month or so. Is there a surface spray to deter these insects from building their nests?

Re: Control of Mud wasps/hornets building in Brick wall grout
Hello @Don11
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about controlling wasps.
I suggest having a quick look at these discussions - How do you keep European wasps away? and What outdoor spray for wasps? by @fi63. If you use a combination of natural deterrent sprays and Envirosafe European Wasp Trap it should provide adequate control. Wasps will often nest if water and food source are nearby, I therefore suggest looking around and see if there are any open containers of water nearby or a bin that is open and does not have a proper cover.
My only other suggestion is to keep a can of PestXpert 400g Wasp Jet Long Reach Spray close to the area so that you can spray any nests that are being built.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
Eric
