How to maintain Buffalo lawn?
Hello,
I recently laid some buffalo turn out the back of my house about a month ago. I have noticed in the past week there has been some small weeds and thinner grass starting to grow. I have been pulling it up as I see it but it is becoming harder to manage (especially the thinner grass growing through). I was wondering what I could do to better manage this and if there are some products I could use to help the buffalo to grow whilst also getting rid of the weeds and thinner grass?

Re: Buffalo Lawn Maintenance
Hi @chrisbeichert,
We'd really need to see some photos of the thinner grass and small weeds to help identify them properly. That way, we can work out whether a selective weed killer would be effective. If you need a hand uploading images, just let me know.
Typically, it’s best to avoid applying any weed killers to new lawns until they’re fully established, as it can stress or damage the grass. I'd recommend waiting at least three months after laying before applying a product like Yates 4L BuffaloPro Hose On Lawn Weed Killer. In the meantime, continuing to pull the weeds manually is the safest approach while your buffalo settles in.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
