How to fix broken downpipe adaptor?
Hi there
I've got a downpipe adaptor which top of it has slightly broken and cause the water come out of the gap. Do I need to replace the adaptor?

Re: Broken downpipe adaptor
Hi @Moj86,
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you join us.
The best solution to this is to simply replace the adaptor. Depending on the dimensions of the pipes, something like this Holman 100 x 80 x 90mm PVC Stormwater Downpipe Adaptor should do the trick. My suggestion would be to remove the existing adaptor and take it in-store with you to match it up with a replacement.
Once you've got the adaptor and have headed home, remove the old adaptor, clean up the pipe with a wire brush, slip the new adaptor over the pipe, and secure it in place with some Protek 125ml Type N Blue Cement Solvent.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
