I am planning to have my tv mounted on the wall. However I also want to install wood panels on that wall. Which one should be done first?

Hello @feb62
It's best to install the wood panels first and then mount the TV. This ensures a clean and seamless look, prevents gaps behind the TV mount, and avoids the hassle of cutting panels around an existing bracket. Once the panels are securely in place, you can mount the TV, ensuring the screws go through both the paneling and the studs or appropriate wall anchors for a strong hold. If you're running cables behind the panels, plan out cutouts and conduit placement before installation.
