installing previous roller blind

Hi guys,

my roller blinds fell and was wondering is it safe to reinstall it in the same place and reuse the same blinds but just replacing the bracket.

Re: installing previous roller blind

Hi @humbleguy,

Thank you for your question about replacing your roller blinds.

Yes, it is safe to reinstall blinds in the same place, but you'll want to replace the brackets and masonry anchors so that they are more solidly secured. The cracking is just in the render, there is no structural issue beneath.

You'll need to move the holes slightly which will require a drill and one of these STAHL Masonry Kit 7mm Drill With 25mm Green Wall Plugs

Grab your bracket and mark out the location of the mounting holes. You will then drill holes with the provided masonry bit in the location of the mounting holes. Once drilled, tap the plugs into the hole and screw the brackets in with the provided screws.

You might like to check out How to hang just about anything for some further guidance.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Jacob
