What is the 2200 x 600 x 25mm Laminated Bamboo Panel made from?

Hello I was looking at the 2200 x 600 x 25mm Laminated Bamboo Panel and I was wondering is it is made of a thin plastic shell with a wood design on wood or is it made of just bamboo because i have had a bad experience with the the   plastic peeling. I live very far from Bunnings and I need to know before I go and waste gas

I am going to use the panel and attach it to desk legs and use it as a desk

Thank you for sharing your question about the laminated bamboo panel. Are you planning on getting this benchtop from Bunnings Christchurch? I've just been in contact with the kitchen specialist there, and they have confirmed that it is a laminated surface and not real bamboo fibres. However, if you are really keen on bamboo, it is available in the Kaboodle benchtop range.  

There is also the option of using laminated worktops as an alternative. But if you are worried about moisture ingress, then using a natural timber benchtop would be best.
