Re: How to seal windows?

Hello @Bernie-Babe13

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your questions about your aluminium windows.

It's a good idea to measure the gap in your window frame before choosing a Moroday Self Adhesive Weatherseal. They come in various shapes and sizes, so getting the right measurement ensures a proper fit and effective seal. This helps improve energy efficiency and makes installation easier.

Thanks Eric. So I can just stick it over the top of the old tape as long as it’s the right size?

Re: How to seal windows

Hello @Bernie-Babe13

You can place the weather seal between the gaps where the wind is blowing through. Hence the importance of measuring the gap to make sure you get the right size. By placing your hand near the window on a windy day, you'll be able to tell where the gaps are and where you need to cover them. Have a good look at the seals when you get to the store. It will give you a much better idea of how to apply them to your situation.
