Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @evelyn2. It's sensational to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about repairing a door.
It would be quite an involved process to repair this damage, and you'll need to paint the door to conceal the repair. It would be worth considering replacing the door. If you were happy to paint the door, you could go through the process of removing the damaged sections, filling the door's core and then applying a finishing filler over that.
Due to the smoothness of the coating, it would be hard to get the filler to stick to the dented surface, so I recommend removing the pieces. If you wanted to attempt to fill over the damage, you'd need to scuff it up thoroughly and create deep gouges for the filler to hang onto with 40-grit sandpaper.
