Hi Workshop community,
I am building a small dance area for myself in my living space. I currently have tiles and they are SUPER slippery. So want to put vinyl down.
Question - is it removable? I am in a rental
Thanks
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @daniilee89. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about installing vinyl.
You might like to look at vinyl sheet, which you could hold down around the edges with double-sided tape. However, it sounds like you might be thinking of self-adhesive vinyl tiles or planks. They are removable, but the glue is quite good at adhering them, so there will be some amount of cleanup required and residual glue needing to be removed from the tiles. I'd encourage you to ask permission from the landlord in case anything were to go wrong.
You could consider using carpet squares as another option.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
Hi Mitchell,
I might try the sheet option with tape, I can't do carpet because carpet burns during dance.
Thanks
