Re: How to close a paint tin properly?

Hi @angelique5,

You can try scraping off any dried paint from the lid and the rim of the can, being careful not to let any hardened paint fall into the can. Once it's clean, use a hammer to lightly tap around the edges of the lid to secure it in place.

Alternatively, you could transfer the remaining paint into a plastic paint container, which is often easier to open and close than traditional paint cans and helps preserve the paint effectively.

I'm not sure if you've seen them, but one of these nifty UNi-PRO Pour And Store Paint Pot Lids would be a good investment for the future. Remove the steel lid and pop on one of these. They make it really easy to pour out the paint when needed.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Mitchell
