hi community could you please help how can i fix this ?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @zeesh. It's fantastic to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about repairing a timber floor.
I apologise for the delay in my reply.
To fix dents in your timber floor, you can try the damp cloth and iron method. Start by placing a damp cloth (not soaking wet) over the dented area. Set your iron to medium heat, without steam, and hover it over the cloth for about 10-15 seconds. The heat and moisture may cause the timber to swell and lift the dents. However, it's important to be cautious with the heat, as too much can damage the floor’s coating.
While this method might help improve the dent's appearance, it won’t restore the floor to its original state. For a more perfect repair, you may need to replace the damaged boards or, alternatively, fill the dents with timber putty, sand the area down, and recoat the floor for a smoother finish.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
