DIY bedroom renovation
We completed this bedroom renovation replacing the old carpet. We start removing the old carpet then treating the concrete slab from mould after let it air dry for few days. We installed hybrid flooring laying on top of a builder black plastic for extra isolation. We painted a feature wall. We replaced the old skirting, cut and painted before refurbished the bedroom.

Re: DIY bedroom renovation
Hello @Stefania67
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thank you for sharing your bedroom renovation.
What a magnificent transformation, the coloured feature wall and the new floors have totally changed the character of the room. The darker colour of the feature wall has subdued the overall brightness of the room. But I believe that won't be much of an issue with those very large bay windows at the side.
Again, thank you for sharing your wonderful bedroom renovation.
Eric

Re: DIY bedroom renovation
Hi Eric,
Thank you so much for your feedback. It took us a little extra time as we want to be sure that the slab of concrete was completely dry from the humidity and ready for the treatment. The feature wall gave a better focus point and style. The flooring creates a greatly healthier environment and low cleaning maintenance..
