Was disappointed it was laminate aswell as wood. I wanted to replace the legs, need to save money. Spray painted the legs and draw handles. Sanded the top down and just used a clear stain.
Pretty happy with how it turned out. Some parts are a bit rough, lessons learnt lol
Stain is Cabot's cabothane clear matt
Paint is White Knights laminate paint. Colour is Refined Stone by British Paints.
Spray paint is British Paints metallic gold.
Draw handles are hamptons style that came in a 4pack from bunnings that I got months ago.
Sander and sanding discs.
Paint roller and tray.
Ryobi drill.
1. Unscrew top and bottom base and handles and draw rollers.
2. Sand back everything.
3. Wipe dust etc off everything.
4. Paint and stain and when dry screw everything back together.
Lovely upcycling project @projectmumdanni! It's always nice to breathe new life into older-styled furniture.
Many thanks for sharing.
