Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @AJ777. It's marvellous to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about dishwasher operation.

It sounds like there could be a broken mechanism or an obstruction preventing the dishwasher drawer from sliding out. First, inspect the components, such as the rails, drawers, and any other moving parts, to see if anything is visibly damaged or blocking the slide-out action. If you can't identify the issue or it seems more complex, it might be worth reaching out to the manufacturer or a technician to assess the situation and potentially resolve the problem.

If this were a dishwasher you purchased through us, I'd be more than happy to reach out to the manufacturer for you.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi @AJ777

If you're referring to the internal drawers then follow @MitchellMc advice. But it sounds like you're referring to the dishwasher itself not being able to be pulled back out of the cavity?

If this is the case, is there clearance on the side and top of the machine? If there isn't any on the top, you may need to lower the adjustable feet as per the owners manual. It could also be the connecting plumbing hose restricting movement so check that. And sometime it might just need a little more leverage. Open the door and carefully see if you can use it as leverage to move the machine left/right. This might be just what it needs to unstick the rubber feet as you pull it forward.

My 20 year old Classique dishwasher is stuck. I can move itupand down and sideways about an inch in and out about two inches. I have got it out by simply lifting it over the four mm flooring .

Hi @Allan1952,

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

I'm not 100% certain if you've managed to get your dishwasher out or not. Is it still stuck in place?

If so, can you maybe provide a couple of photos of your dishwasher?

If the flooring was installed after the dishwasher, then it will likely be a tight squeeze that might require you to either lift the flooring temporarily or remove the benchtop to create some clearance.

The only other thing I could think of that may help is if the dishwasher has levelling feet that you can turn down to reduce its height slightly to get a little bit more clearance.

Let me know what you think.

It’s not a dish draw. It’s a dishwasher

Hi @Allan1952,

When you say you can move it up and down a bit, is that exclusively at the front of the dishwasher? Does it feel like the feet at the back are sticking?

Could you maybe push a couple of pieces of timber underneath the dishwasher to act as slides?

Do the dishwasher's feet come off the ground enough to slip some timbers underneath?

These Specrite 70 x 35mm 0.9m Pine Shorts might work.

Let me know what you think.
