Hi guys,
May I ask for the frame size to fit sliding door H 2100 x W 1810?
Some people suggest opening should added extra 20 - 30 mm (10mm to 15mm each size).
For example above, the recommend size would be H 2130 x W 1840.
Can you clarify this is correct?
Thank you so much.

Hello @tan_tran81
For the space above, it all depends on the size of your rail mechanism. If the rails are 30mm thick plus the drop-down anchor post and fittings it could be at least 50mm. I recommend measuring your gap for the top section with the rail system included. The same thing applies to the width as you have a receiver spring at the end of the run which prevents the sliding door from slamming into the frame. If you wish to get a custom size door cavity frame, I propose bringing your door size to the store and speaking to the special orders team and asking for a quote for a custom Hume door cavity frame.
Your idea of adding buffers to the current size is practical, but it is very important that you get the sizes correct as the frame will be made to order to the size of your door.
