I found these old kitchen scales in my father's shed, they were pretty rough & didn't work. I pulled them apart & clean & lubricated the spring & mechanism & managed to get them to work. After a good clean & a coat of paint they looked pretty good then i managed to print a new face. They now work perfectly & are a nice display piece on the kitchen bench.
Nice one @DarrenPage1. It's so good when we can give an item a second life rather than it ending up in landfill. Well done.

Morning @DarrenPage1
Looks fantastic - maybe more accurate than digital scales? 😁
There is something comforting is seeing the dial move - unless they're bathroom scales.
