How to seal oil-painted coasters?
Hello
would love some advice on how I might seal these oil painted coasters to make them water and heat resistant.
Thank you in advance.

Re: How to seal oil-painted coasters?
Hi @Joanna2,
Another option apart from the clear Rustoleum spray we discussed would be the Protite 750ml Glass Coat Kit. This would require considerably more work as you'll need to apply tape to form up the edges and potentially sand and buff the edges. However, this product will allow you to create a thick coating that will really add a 3d appearance.
Let me mention a few of our knowledgeable members, @prettyliving, @craftyhopper and @daniknight4 to get their thoughts.
I'll be keen to hear about the results of your tests.
