How to remove adhesive from back of tiles and re-glue?
Hi,
Just looking for advice as person who doesn't have a DIY bone in their body. Our kitchen tiles have come out from behind the oven. Just wondering what the past way is to remove the adhesive and glue them back on again. Thanks for your help!

Re: Removing adehesive from back of tiles and re glueing
Hello @CaraW
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your tiles.
I suggest using a Craftright 5-in-1 Scraper. Using the sharp edge of the scraper you can slowly scrape off the old adhesive. It might take a while, but this would be the safest way to remove it. Using a grinder or a motorized tool might accidentally break or chip the tile and if you don't have any spares you'll want to take care of them as best you can.
To glue the tile back onto the wall, I suggest using Dunlop 310ml Tile-All Plus Premixed Tile Adhesive if you are doing only a few tiles. To grout the tile, I recommend Dunlop 800g Ready-To-Go Coloured Grout - White. Please note, it's important to give the tile adhesive enough time to cure before you grout.
Here is a handy step-by-step guide: How To Tile A Splashback (some of the techniques are applicable to your repair project)
Please remember to wear personal protection such as gloves, goggles and a mask when working on your project.
If you need further assistance, please let me know.
