Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @jeske. It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about roller marks.
I'm sorry to hear you had an issue with your painted coating.
Two-part paints are extremely susceptible to being touched once they start becoming tacky. Roller marks most often occur when you lay down the paint and then go back over an area that has already begun curing. This interrupts the self-levelling process and pulls peaks of the coating back up into the air, where they dry and leave visible marks. Once applied, the product should not be disturbed, as the self-levelling process will take care of most inconsistencies. It's often when we try to fix these that the finish becomes compromised.
At this stage, the best option is to wait for the paint to fully cure before sanding the surface with 240-grit sandpaper to remove the roller marks. Once smooth, you can apply another coat, ensuring you maintain a consistent technique and avoid going back over areas that have already started curing.
If you didn't go back over any of the areas, then it might be worth checking if the type of roller used was consistent with what is recommended in the application instructions.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you, so applying another coat over the top can’t correct it ??
Hello @jeske
I believe Mitchell actually recommended putting on another coat. He suggested to wait for the current coating to fully cure. You then sand the surface with a 240grit sandpaper to remove the roller marks. Clean the surface very well and then apply another coat making sure that you maintain a consistent technique and avoid going back over areas that have already started curing. You must stop yourself from being tempted to run the roller over areas that have already been coated.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
