Hi
I have a small burn mark on my counter top and would like some help to fix it.
Hello @hannahcharli
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your benchtop.
If you have a stone benchtop, I suggest trying out a mixture of baking soda and vinegar. The ratio is 1:2 meaning one part baking soda to two parts vinegar. This ratio helps to maximize the cleaning power and fizzing action of the mixture. Using a clean rag wipe the paste over the burn mark and let it sit for a moment, then gently wipe the paste away and polish the surface with a clean paper towel. The only other product I would suggest is Bar Keepers Friend 737ml Liquid Soft Cleanser. Please test under the benchtop before testing at the surface.
If the burn does not fade or go away, I suggest engaging the services of a benchtop restoration specialist and getting a quote for the repair.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
