We bought a Mondella Resonance curved sink mixer from the local Bunning store recently ( for all pressures ) and have it successfully installed. It is working ok, but the hot water is very slow. The old tap did not have an issue. The pressure to the tap seems fine but going through the tap seems to be a reduction of hot water pressure. Could it be a faulty cartridge?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Lara_Mich. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about low water pressure.
Could you please first check that the mini cistern cock under the sink, which the hot water flex pipe is connected to, is turned entirely anticlockwise? Next, would you be able to do a flow test for us. Place a container under the spout and run the hot water for thirty seconds. We are looking for around 3L per 30 seconds or 6L per minute.
The Mondella Resonance curved sink mixer has a flow of 6L per minute, and if your previous tap was unrestricted or 9L per minute, you might be seeing that difference. However, that should apply to both hot and cold, and it appears this issue is just with the hot.
If, after your flow test, you are getting far less than 6L per minute, then it's an indication that the product could be faulty or there's a blockage in the hot water flex pipe to the tap. I'd recommend you return it to the store of purchase and request it to be swapped for a new unit.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for the advice..
We have found the problem. The adjustable aerator was the issue. These devices do not work on low pressure. We changed it to the low flow/pressure one which came with the tap and now it works perfectly.
