How can i can make the existing hole bigger for my new dishwasher inlet pipe.,

The new inlet pipe with tap connection doesnt pass through it.

Re: How to cut hole in wood panel with limited access?

Hi @kingj

If you have access to a jigsaw and know how to use it, I suggest cutting the hole bigger so that your dishwasher hose fits. However, if you don't have any tools available to you, I suggest purchasing a Trojan 170mm Compass Saw. A compass saw is a type of saw used for making curved cuts known as compasses, particularly in confined spaces where a larger saw would not fit.

Your other option of course is to use a cordless drill and a hole saw kit to cut a bigger hole on the side of the cabinet. Make sure to sand the surface and sides of the cut.

Please make sure to wear personal protection such as gloves, goggles and a mask when working on your project.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric

Re: How to cut hole in wood panel with limited access?

HI @kingj , i am a bit old school for things like that , i had the same issue with ours but i only had to remove a few mm of timber to get the fitting through, i used one of these https://www.bunnings.com.au/trojan-250mm-wood-rasp-file_p0035006.

it will remove the chipboard in no time
