Hi,
I'm currently renovating my kitchen, and looking to install timber panelling on the rear of my kitchen island and on the end of my kitchen cabinetry which will face into the dining room.
I really like the example in the photo which is currently on display in my local Bunnings store, but the team member I spoke to couldn't identify this product. Can anyone point me in the direction of this or a very similar product? Ideally it can also come in long lengths (eg 2.4m)
Thanks!
Hi @javajive,
It's called castellated panelling, or we have the Prempanel Acoustic Panel. However, I can't seem to locate one exactly the same as in your image. If you can let us know the store, I can contact them for more details to see if we can work out if it's a product we sell.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
Hi @javajive,
We're looking forward to seeing how you can transform your kitchen island.
While Mitch is investigating for you, I thought I'd also point you to a popular transformation by @ProjectPete - Kitchen island EasyVJ panelling. You might like to consider it as an alternative.
Jason
Thanks Mitchell. I've seen the acoustic panel and it's not what I'm after.
This display is in the Tamworth store.
Thank you!
Thanks Jason. I did see that project this morning. It looks good, and definitely an option to consider!
Hello @javajive
I was just in contact with Bunnings Tamworth store and the product you are looking it is called the Porta contour timber linings boards. I believe the specific model you are looking at is called the "Strata". It's probable that a clear sealer was applied to the surface of the timber lining board.
Here is a link to the product brochure: Porta Timber Lining Boards
