How do painted laminate doors wear over time?
Can you please tell me if the painted laminate door wear ok with the wiping over constantly especially around the stove area and under the sink.
Thinking I will paint my laminated door to freshen up my kitchen.

Re: painted laminate doors
Hello @boof61
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thank you for sharing your question about painting laminated doors.
The trick to painting laminated kitchen doors is preparation. As painters often say 90% preparation and 10% actual painting. If your doors and benchtop are prepared properly without taking any shortcuts, the paint will adhere to the laminate finish properly. You must provide enough time for the paint to cure properly. If used too soon you will damage the finish.
My number one tip is to always use the proper laminate primer on the door.
It sounds like a great renovation project. Any photo updates you can provide while painting the kitchen would be much appreciated.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
Eric
