I understand how to adjust a door with 2 hinges but with more I am not sure how to go about it

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Geoff45. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about adjusting hinges.
Could you let us know specifically what difficulty you’re experiencing with the pantry door? Are you trying to align it because it’s uneven, sits too high or low, or doesn’t close properly? Adjusting a door with five hidden hinges can seem tricky at first, but understanding the problem will help us provide guidance.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Door touches pantry side when closing
The photo with the narrow opening is the handle side. The photo with the wider gap is the hinge side. Hinge side gap is wider at the top than at the bottom. Handle side is narrow at the top and wider at the bottom
Hello @Geoff45
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thanks for sharing your question about your cabinet hinges.
I suggest having a quick look at this discussion - Soft close door with Hettich hinges wont close by @JJ87. In the discussion I indicated which adjusting screw needs to be turned in order for the door to move forward or backwards. The other adjustment screw moves the door left to right. This is the adjustment screw you need to turn in order to adjust the gap.
If you explore the adjustments, you'll immediately see which way the door moves. If adjusted too much, it moves too close to one side.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Thanks Eric
my problem is that there are 5 hinges. Do I loosen the middle three and just adjust the top one and then retighten the middle three or do I work down from hinge to hinge? If there were only 2 hinges the job is easy but I am puzzled about 5 hinges.
Cheers
Geoff
Hello @Geoff45
You're absolutely right about corner pantry doors being heavy, which is why those 5 hinges are so important for keeping everything supported properly. Your plan for adjusting the hinges sounds great! My only tip would be to work efficiently while adjusting, as the door's weight is currently being held up by just two hinges. If the process takes too long, the weight might start to pull the door out of alignment. A quick adjustment should do the trick, and you'll have that door hanging perfectly in no time.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

So let me see if I have got this straight.
1. I have to disengage the middle three hinges so that there is only support from 2 hinges.
2. Then I work quickly to sort it out
3. Re-engage the middle hinges.
So then I have one more question. From the photo, which screws loosen off the middle hinges?
Thanks for your help.
Geoff
Hi @Geoff45,
As you've mentioned, it is much easier with 2 hinges, but everything you need to do can be done without disconnecting anything.
Looking at your photo, I believe the top needs to be adjusted so the door moves towards the side wall of the cabinet and the bottom may need to move away from the side wall of the cabinet slightly.
Looking at the issue, you should only need to rotate this screw on the hinges.
This will push the hinge out from the sidewall of the cabinet, which will adjust the gap between the door and the side wall of the cabinet when it is closed.
Rotate the screw I have circled above on your top hinge. You should see the hinge pull closer to the side wall. If it is pushing away, then rotate the screw in the opposite direction. Rotate it half a turn and assess before making further adjustments.
The three middle hinges look like they are in the correct place, so you may not need to touch them.
The bottom hinge may need some slight adjustment in the opposite direction to the top hinge. Follow the same process of making small adjustments and checking.
You should be able to do all of this without the need to remove anything, it may just take some trial and error.
Let me know what you think and if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
