This plant grows from the compost. The leaves is some type of cucurbits, with smaller leaves than the Japs but larger than the cucumbers. The fruit is washed white in color, no strips.
What is it?

It looks like a marrow.
Deb reckons it could be a variety of squash (maybe) just because of how the stalks clump. Pumpkin and melons don't do this.

How big is it?
With last week's hot weather, it grew to over 25cm.... I think it's a pumpkin of some sort.
It turns out to be a sharkfin melon! Surprise surprise!!
