Have 3/4 metre limestone wall around garden bed. Want to add 1 row to top to make about 20cm higher. Is there solid wall topping blocks that don't need to be cemented, IE interlocking ? so still remain in place.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @sangheap. It's sensational to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about limestone blocks.
Thanks for your question. While there are interlocking blocks available that don’t require mortar, they’re typically made from concrete rather than limestone. I’m not aware of any solid limestone blocks that interlock in that way—most limestone wall toppers do need to be fixed in place, usually with a mortar or suitable adhesive, to ensure they stay secure, especially at that height. If you’re after a dry-stack look, you could consider using a contrasting material like a decorative concrete block that complements the limestone.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
