Has the formula changed. Website shows you need twice as much?
I will go by the container.
the rate is strange compared to a brand I have used previously
eg
seedlings, annuals and indoor 35ml compared to 30ml which is neither here nor there, however,
Shrubs and veg is 70ml which more than twice the 30ml
i just would’ve expected either very close or double in both cases and not one of each?
also is the spray on hose version of this watered down or exact same mix?
Hello @bn71
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us. and thanks for sharing your question about the seaweed liquid.
If you are referring to Seasol 600ml Complete Garden Health Treatment, you'll notice that the concentrated bottle can make 270lts. Whereas the Garden Basics will only mix up to 250lts. It might seem like a small difference, but it is enough to make a difference. That's why Seasol only recommends 30mL. instead of 70mL. in a 9Lt. watering can. In regards to the spray bottles the Garden Basics 2L bottle will cover 33 square meters. The Seasol 1.2L Hose On Lawn Care will cover 125 square meters. it's safe to conclude that Seasol has a more concentrated mixture.
But in regards to Garden Basics application, I suggest following the recommended mixture at the back of the bottle.
Please make sure to wear personal protection such as gloves, goggles and a mask when spraying in your garden.
