Hi
I have been noticing some white lines on leaves and leaves are turning curl.
What could be the reason?
It is happening to all three citrus plants.
Please see photos attached here.
Hello @imcodebased
When you see a combination of white lines and leaf curling and deformation this is often an indicator of leaf miner infestation. Leafminers are the larvae of various beetles, flies, moths, and sawflies. The adult insects lay their eggs on the leaf and the larvae tunnel into the leaf while feeding. Giving the impression that someone has been squiggling white lines on your leaf.
The best way to control them is to remove the infected leaves and throw them into the bin. Don't mix them in with your compost or mulch. I also suggest spraying the plant with Eco-Organic Garden 500ml Eco-Oil Concentrate.
Please remember that when spraying with chemicals it's best to wear proper protection such as gloves, goggles and a Bear Disposable Paint Mask With Active Carbon Filter And Valve. Make sure to follow all the recommended safety procedures on the packaging label.
Let me call on our experienced members @Noelle and @Adam_W for their recommendations.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Hi @imcodebased
Definitely leaf miner. Using an organic products like Eco-Organic Garden 500ml Eco-Oil Concentrate.is the safest way to go - this product is completely natural and organic and will not harm you or the environment. Gloves and goggles are always good practice when gardening but you shouldn't need anything more than a standard N65 mask for this particular product.
@imcodebased Noelle and Eric have given you great advice for a very common problem with Citrus. Good luck treating it and getting your tree back to being healthy and productive.
Please just be mindful if you are spraying, don’t do it in the heat of the day as this will cause stress to your tree. 😊
