Which mulcher - crusher or impact?

I'm thinking of purchasing a Ryobi garden mulcher. Most of the green waste is young and soft such as perennial plants with little hardwood. I'm not sure whether I need a crusher or impact type.

Crusher is what I have and most people recomend them too.

It's wonderful to see that @Brad has already offered you his advice.

The crusher would be the way to go if most of the material is green waste. The rapid/impact shredders are really only more proficient with dry material. An advantage of the crushing shredders is that they self-feed, so you just pop some material in and then grab some more while it feeds itself. The rapid requires you to push the dry material down into the blade system. 

The crusher is also much less likely to get clogged with the green material.
