What type of weed / Grass is growing in my tall fescue

Ive found this in afew patches in my tall fescue. It doesnt seem to grow how the rest of my tall fescue does, as it grows and like stretches out kinda. Wondering what type of grass it might be, Thanks!

A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community and thank you for your question.

What you are looking at is Winter Grass aka Poa Annua. Unfortunately, because it is a cool season grass that is very similar to Tall Fescue, all of the products I am aware of for treating it can't be used on Tall Fescue. 

There may be specialty products that can be applied to Tall Fescue to manage it, but I am not aware of them.

It is likely your best option is going to be manual removal. You could use a Cyclone Extract Weeder to reduce the strain on your back while removing it.
