How to stop weed taking over lawn?
We have tried many things even pulled it out by hand at one point but this weed is crazy! How do we stop it overtaking our yard? (Without killing the little lawn we have still surviving)

Re: Weed taking over!
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @13542kcasey. It's splendid to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about controlling weeds.
Looking at that first photo, it seems the weed has pretty much taken over that larger area completely. Is there any lawn still surviving in that section, or is it just weed now? If there's little to no grass left, I'd suggest treating that whole area with a non-selective herbicide to wipe it out completely before it spreads further into the rest of your lawn. It's the most effective way to get ahead of it.
For the areas where the weed has already crept into your lawn, things get a bit trickier. You’ll need to spot-treat it very carefully using a small paintbrush or weeding wand to apply a herbicide directly to the leaves of the weed. Just be really cautious not to let any of it touch your lawn, as most herbicides will damage or kill grass too. This kind of precision treatment takes a bit more time but can help you save what's left of your lawn while targeting the problem areas.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
