As part of my backyard garden makeover I had an old wheelbarrow lying around and rather than taking to the tip, I upcycled it as a planter. Not much prep done to it other than drilling drainage holes ... I didn't even pump up the flat tyre 🤣 Then filled with good quality potting mix and loaded up with seedlings from Bunnings.
Planted up in March this year
Now brimming with colour - surprisingly these plants all survived a Canberra winter!
Lovely work, @DIYMum that came up a real treat! The seedlings appear to really enjoy your handiwork and are flourishing.
I'm sure @Jamespeter100 will be delighted to see your effort, as he's also a great fan of unique planting containers. Make sure to check out his work, as he has some inspiring projects.
Well done creating this fantastic planter and recycling something destined for the tip. Many thanks for sharing.
