Mandarins, very very sour
we have some mandarins in our common garden at our village, they are extremely sour. Why?

Welcome to Workshop. We're thrilled to have you join us and trust that you'll receive loads of helpful advice and inspiration for your projects around the house and garden from our wonderful members.
When the topic of mandarins came up last year, horticulturalist @DonnaE explained that you need to pick the fruit as soon as they turn orange. Most citrus get sweeter the longer they stay on the tree, but mandarins are the opposite.
Hopefully other members will have some other tips for you so that you can enjoy sweeter fruit next season.
