I'd suggest checking out the Ozito PXC 18V 280mm Cordless Line Trimmer 4.0Ah PXLTK-4028 Kit and the Ryobi One+ 18V 25/30cm 4.0Ah Cordless Line Trimmer Kit.

They are both lightweight, easy to use and come with a battery and charger that is compatible with a variety of tools from their respective ranges meaning there is no need to worry about petrol or oil.
